Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a gentle method based on the approach of traditional Chinese medicine that highlights - through muscle testing - any energy imbalances and emotional blockages stored in our body that prevent us from reaching our full potential.

THE BODY EXPRESSES ITS DISARRAY THROUGH A WIDE VARIETY OF DYSFUNCTIONS.

Objectives of Kinesiology

Kinesiology aims, through various techniques (acupressure, energy work, stress management, relaxation techniques, NLP…), to release internal tensions and restore the body’s circulation of energy by working on the cause of a given disorder.

It is not about establishing a diagnosis; kinesiology is an educational – not medical – approach to wellness and health.

Who is Kinesiology for?

Kinesiology is for anyone wishing to be supported on a journey to improved well-being .

Origins of Kinesiology

In the 1960s in the United States, Chiropractor Dr. Goodheart created Applied Kinesiology muscle testing to teach health professionals called ‘Doctors’. (see www.icak.com)

One of his students, John Thie, decided to make muscle testing accessible to everyone. He created Touch For Health, which uses muscle testing and Chinese energy acupressure points to allow anyone to identify the body’s vitality or energy responses. Touch For Health is therefore the foundation of specialised kinesiologies®.

The origins of stress being multiple, new methods of specialised kinesiology have emerged, in particular through emotional kinesiology or educational kinesiology.
